The Larger Moths of Northamptonshire and the Soke of Peterborough

This is the first time that the county's moths have been fully reviewed in print since Eustace Wallis completed writing the Lepidoptera of Northamptonshire in 1912. The book contains nearly 200 pages with species accounts of the 648 larger moths recorded in the county with around 90% of them illustrated along with a selection of the larvae mentioned in the text. It reviews 30 habitats in detail along with a short biography of some of the better known old recorders and provides a gazetteer giving detals of the localities mentioned in the text.
